Live mural art show made history on Convoy Street

KEARNY MESA (KUSI)- Some of the best local San Diego talent made history tonight by taking part in the first ever live mural painting on Convoy Street.

The Cross Street Chicken and Beer restaurant hosted the event, which included visual artists and performers to help showcase the area.

A number of people want to establish that neighborhood as its own community, much like Hillcrest or North Park.
