Local artist creates portrait to pay tribute to retired Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A painting at Liberty Station is getting a lot of attention because it’s of a person who grabbed national headlines: retired Navy SEAL Chief Eddie Gallagher.

A local artist was inspired by Gallagher’s story and decided to paint a portrait of him.

Artist Nancy Tokos was in studio to tell us about her painting.
