Local leaders to hear design ideas for San Diego’s downtown library

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – City leaders will gather Thursday night for a special presentation of a design to re-purpose the San Diego downtown library.

San Diego City Council President Sherri Lightner, Councilman Chris Cate and representatives from Veterans Village of San Diego will hear presentations from Kearny High School seniors on how to turn the former site of the downtown library into a veterans center. 

The design project was part of Kearny’s Stanley Foster School of Architecture and Engineering
Senior Gala.
