Local San Diego Girl Scouts hold Coat Drive for One Warm Coat

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The Girl Scouts in San Diego will be collecting coats and sweaters for the needy this autumn.

Fariba Namvar and Girl Scout Troop 2126 visited the studio to talk about their upcoming drive and how you can help.

Girl Scout Brownie Troop 2126 will be holding a Coat Drive again this year. Last year over 450 items were collected.

As the weather becomes chillier and you bring out those coats, sweaters, jackets, scarves and hats, please hang on to those you no longer need or have grown out of, and drop them off at one of the following locations in October:  Design 39 Campus (Welcome Center Oct. 1-19 & Kinder Loop Oct. 3-19); Ralphs 4S Commons (by front entrance Oct. 3-19); Starbucks Del Sur (by barista counter Oct. 3-19).
