Local teens to deliver new clothes to kids in need

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A 13-year-old is working with a local organization to deliver $10,000 worth of new clothes to kids in need in Tijuana, Mexico.

Gabriel Benitez is a member of KIDBOX’s Kids Board of Directors, who provided the new clothes as part of the brand’s commitment to help their Kids Board members make a local impact in their communities.

Benitez’s parents said Gabriel and his team with Build a Miracle also raised $16,000 to help take a family from living in dire poverty, to living in a fully furnished home with running water, electricity, plumbing, bedrooms, a kitchen, and, for the first time, a functioning roof to keep them safe and dry this winter.
