Local woman hits $186K lottery ticket

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A woman who won $186,783 with a Fantasy 5 ticket
purchased in downtown San Diego stepped forward Tuesday to claim her winnings.

Georgina Alarcon of San Diego purchased the ticket Oct. 20 at a 7-Eleven
at 1150 Broadway, where she often stops to get coffee, state lottery
officials said.

Alarcon didn't get around to checking the ticket for about a week. The
woman told lottery officials that she plans to put a down payment on a house,
buy a car and save for her daughter's college education.

The ticket matched the winning numbers of 9, 19, 26, 33 and 38.

A Fantasy 5 ticket purchased Friday at a CVS Pharmacy in Santee is worth
$379,925, but the winner hasn't been identified.
