Locally-purchased $11 million lottery ticket remains unclaimed

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – An $11 million SuperLotto Plus ticket bought one month
ago in Golden Hill still hasn't been claimed, the state lottery said Tuesday.

The ticket was purchased for the Aug. 10 drawing at Golden Hill Liquor,
2795 B St., lottery officials said.

Holders of winning lottery tickets have six months to claim their
winnings, or the money is turned over to education. The lottery says $750
million in winnings have gone unclaimed since the games began in the mid-1980s.

The ticket bought last month matched the winning numbers of 5, 7, 14,
44, 46, and the Mega number 27.
