LPGA star Angel Yin previews the Kia Classic

Angel Yin started playing golf at the age of six.

In 2017, she made 20 cuts out of 25 tournaments, taking in $455,235. Yin finished in the top 10 five times, including a season best T5 finish twice. She ranked second in the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year standings. She finished fourth on tour in average driving distance with an average of 272 yards.

Angel Yin claimed her maiden professional title at the Ladies European Tour season-ending Omega Dubai Ladies Classic. She was selected by Team USA Captain Juli Inkster as a Captain’s pick for the Solheim Cup and posted a 1-1-1 record.
