Lucky Duck Foundation outlines 2023 priorities as homeless population reaches all time high

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The Lucky Duck Foundation is holding a press conference Wednesday to announce its priorities for 2023 and to explain what it believes can and should be implemented by City and County elected officials to address the homelessness crisis throughout San Diego County.

The Lucky Duck Foundation made national headlines in September 2022 when they held a press conference with icon Bill Walton, who explained how America’s Finest City has been destroyed under the leadership of Todd Gloria. Walton declared the new, failed state of San Diego to be called, “Gloriaville,” before calling on Gloria to resign.

Mayor Gloria responded calling Walton and leaders of The Lucky Duck Foundation “liars,” and has yet to work alongside them to address and solve San Diego’s record high homeless issue.

Executive Director of The Lucky Duck Foundation, Drew Moser, and Executive Committee Member, Dan Shea, are hosting Wednesday’s press conference on their 2023 priorities.

KUSI’s Rafer Weigel reported live with the details on Good Evening San Diego.

Lucky Duck CEO Drew Moser also appeared on Good Morning San Diego with KUSI’s Hunter Sowards to discuss his 2023 vision:
