Lyft Driver pistol-whipped, robbed in Mission Valley

MISSION VALLEY (KUSI) — A Lyft driver was attacked and robbed by two men in the Mission Valley area Monday night, police said.

The driver was parked on Amino Del Rio South around 10 p.m. when he was confronted by two males with a gun and pistol-whipped. He was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, according to police.

A description of the two men was not immediately available and the motive is unknown.
