Magnitude 4.2 quake near Campo

At 4:18 p.m. today an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of
4.2 was reported near the U.S.-Mexico border, according to the United States
Geological Service (USGS). USGS estimate the epicenter of the quake was 40
miles southeast of Alpine, 17 miles southeast of Campo, 23 miles east-
southeast of Tecate, Mexico and 42 miles north-northeast of Ensenada, Mexico.
