Major breakthrough from San Diego Zoo could help save southern white rhinos

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – It could be one of the biggest developments ever when it comes to saving the southern white rhino. A major break through from the San Diego Zoo could be the key to solving infertility in rhinos.

The discovery was made by a researcher at the Safari Park. She took a good look at the rhino diet and made some changes.

It now looks more like their diet in the wild.

As KUSI’s Dan Plante shows us, this could be a game changer when it comes to saving the southern white rhino.
