Major Nor’easter to slam the Northeast

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Twenty-million people were under winter weather alters on Tuesday as a major Nor’easter built off the coast, threatening heavy snows, winds and coastal flooding in the U.S. Northeast.

The storm is the first of its kind this winter season. Up to two feet of snow is expected to hit higher elevations on the Northeast. State and local departments are preparing for potential power outages and freezing temperatures.

KUSI was joined by CNN Correspondent Chris Nguyen to discuss the severity of the oncoming storm.
