Making school lunches healthier for Coronado students

CORONADO (KUSI) – Making sure kids have a proper meal is always important. Most people don’t have the best image when they think of school lunches, but the Coronado Unified School District is trying to change that.

Charity Johnson, the Director of Child Nutrition Services from Coronado Unified School District joined us on set at Coasterra to explain how she plans to make school lunches healthier and more appetizing for students.
