Man arrested after trying to stab roommate

BONSALL (KUSI) – A Bonsall man was arrested after he attacked his roommate with a knife Sunday.   

The San Diego County Sheriff's Department said that Joseph Russell Colihan, 55, tried to injure his roommate at their residence in the 29000 block
of Margale Lane at 10:18 a.m.   

Colihan was disarmed during the struggle. He then left the home and deputies caught him as he broke a window trying to get back inside the house.   

The victim had a mild cut to his neck. Colihan was not seriously injured, but did require medical attention. He was later booked into the Vista Detention Facility.
