Man arrested following alleged attempted abduction of young boy in North Park
A man was taken into custody Tuesday morning following reports of an attempted abduction of a young boy in North Park.
Police say a white male in his mid-30’s invited a young boy into his red SUV at a bus stop near the corner of Texas St. and Howard Ave. The boy declined and ran home and told his parents, who called police and gave a description of the vehicle.
A red SUV matching the boy’s description was pulled over near El Cajon Blvd. and Oregon St., and the driver was taken into custody.
