Man arrested near Lake Jennings after ramming two patrol cars with his own vehicle

LAKE JENNINGS (KUSI) — A man was arrested Tuesday for ramming into a sheriff’s deputy vehicle with his own car twice.

It happened Tuesday afternoon when deputies were called about a man parked on private property.

When they approached, deputies said the man was acting strangely and seemed very agitated.

Deputies said after ignoring calls to step out of the car, the suspect put his car into reverse, hit the patrol car and then drove away.

Deputies chased him to a rural road where, they say, he rammed their car again.

The man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and assault on a police officer.
