HOLLYWOOD (KUSI) – A report of a man with a gun at Sunset Bronson Studios in Hollywood prompted a large police response and the lockdown of some buildings, but a suspect was taken into custody and there were no reports of any injuries.
Officers responded about 3:50 p.m. to the 5800 block of West Sunset Boulevard after getting a report of an armed man “ready to take action,” according to Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
Video from the scene showed people on the lot being escorted out of a building, believed to be the headquarters of Netflix.
A suspect was taken into custody, but no details were released.
Netflix officials say police are “conducting a sweep of the lot out of an abundance of caution. There is no immediate danger or threat to our employees.”
