Man injured in construction site fall

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A laborer fell about 30 feet from a building under
construction in Sorrento Valley Wednesday, but apparently escaped serious harm.

The accident in the 10000 block of Pacific Heights Boulevard was
reported about 11:15 a.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

The worker briefly lost consciousness after landing on wooden concrete
forms in a basement area, SDFRD spokesman Maurice Luque said.

Medics took the man to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for a
precautionary evaluation and treatment of apparently minor injuries, Luque
said.
