Man robbed at gunpoint
CHOLLAS VIEW (CNS) – A man pulled a gun and robbed a man outside of his car Friday night, then fran into the night, police said Saturday.
The incident occurred at at 9:42 p.m. at 450 Euclid Ave., San Diego Police officer Robert Heims said.
“A Hispanic man was counting money next to his car when a suspect walked up to the victim carrying a gun and demanded the money from the victim,” Heims said. “The victim told the suspect he thought his gun was fake.
“The suspect fired one round into the ground.”
Heims said the victim then gave the suspect and undisclosed amount of cash.
“The suspect was last seen running south towards the Food 4 Less at 312 Euclid Ave., Heims said.
The suspect was identified by police only as an Asian man. Southeastern Division detectives were investigating.
