Man Robs Mission Federal Credit Union In Scripps Ranch

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A man robbed a Scripps Ranch credit union branch and escaped before police could arrive, an officer said today.

The suspect showed up at 12:08 p.m. to the Mission Federal Credit Union on Spring Canyon Road, just south of Scripps Poway Parkway, and passed a demand note to a teller, San Diego Police Officer Sarah Foster said. She said the employee complied with the robber’s demands and gave him an undetermined amount of money. The suspect fled the scene.

Robbery detectives were investigating.
