Man runs more than 100 miles in honor of those impacted by cancer

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Every year Tom Atwell runs 100 miles for the “Teens for a Cure Walk-a-Thon”  in honor of those who has been impacted by cancer.

Yesterday he finished his 10th journey around the track, this time running 110 miles in honor of the 10th anniversary event.

Tom and two-time cancer survivor Robert Duran joined KUSI News to talk about their remarkable journeys.
