Man seriously injured after crashing his Corvette

CHULA VISTA (CNS) – A suspected drunken motorist struck an electrical box and a parked vehicle in Chula Vista early Sunday morning.

He was speeding in a red Corvette and suffered some serious injuries due to the crash. Officers dispatched at 1:45 a.m. to the 1400 block of Third Avenue arrived to find the motorist unconscious, ejected from his car and suffering from head trauma.   

Paramedics rushed the man to UCSD Hospital with serious injuries.
