Man shot in City Heights section of San Diego, suspects at large

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A man was hospitalized Saturday evening after being shot several times in the stomach in the City Heights section of San Diego and police were searching for two suspects.

The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. on Altadena Avenue near Orange Avenue, San Diego police told Fox5 News.

The victim was transported to a hospital and undergoing surgery, the station reported.

A motive for the shooting was unknown.

Descriptions of the two suspects was not available.
