Paradise Hills shooting victim in grave condition as search for gunman continues
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A shooting in a Paradise Hills alley left a 27-year-old man in grave condition Tuesday, authorities reported.
The victim was visiting a friend's apartment in the 2700 block of Manos
Drive when he got a phone call about 2:30 a.m. from someone who asked him to
come outside and meet behind the complex, according to San Diego police. He did
so, and as the pair were speaking in the rear alley, two other people walked
up, and at least one opened fire.
The assailants, described only as male, then fled the area on foot, SDPD
Lt. Kevin Rooney said.
Medics took the victim to a hospital for treatment of head and leg
wounds. His name was not released.
