Man stabbed in Corridor neighborhood

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – An investigation was under way Tuesday into a stabbing in San Diego’s Corridor area that was apparently sparked over a love triangle.

A 37-year-old man was walking in the west alley of the 4100 block of 36th Street around 10 p.m. Monday when he was cut across the back and on one of his forearms with a box cutter, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The suspect is a 25-year-old man who is known to the victim and shares a common lover, Delimitros said in a statement, adding that the suspect was at-large.

The victim’s wounds were not life-threatening.
