Man stabbed multiple times in gang altercation
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A 46-year-old man was stabbed six times during an altercation with three gang members near Chicano Park in the Barrio Logan
neighborhood.
The trio of suspects approached the victim in the 1000 block of Dewey Street near National Avenue and issued a gang challenge shortly after 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros. One suspect then pulled a knife and repeatedly stuck the victim in the abdomen, but police
describe the wounds as not life-threatening.
The knife-wielding suspect was described as a bald Hispanic man in his 30s with a goatee, roughly 5 feet 10 inches tall and 165 pounds, wearing a white T-shirt and Dickies pants. Descriptions of the other two suspects were not immediately available.
