Man stabbed outside Logan Heights liquor store

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A transient stabbed a man for no apparent reason outside a Logan Heights liquor store Monday, leaving him with an apparently non-life-threatening wound.

The assault in the 2900 block of National Avenue was reported shortly after 1:30 p.m., according to San Diego police.

The victim, a man in his 20s, told officers the assailant – a heavyset, bearded drifter known as Daniel – had attacked him without provocation. Medics took the wounded man to a hospital for treatment of a wound to the left side of his upper body.
