Man stabs older brother in Lemon Grove
LEMON GROVE (CNS) – A 19-year-old Lemon Grove man stabbed his older
brother in the chest during at a fight at their home early Thursday, then fled,
authorities said.
Deputies were called to break up a fight in the 2000 block of El Prado
Avenue just after 1 a.m., according to San Diego County sheriff's Lt. Clayton
Lisk. Once there, they learned that Daniel Flores Griner, 19, stabbed his 26-
year-old brother, Freddy, in the chest, he said, adding that that the brothers
were fighting for unknown reasons.
Paramedics took the victim to Scripps Mercy Hospital. The lieutenant
described the injury as non-life threatening.
A search for the suspect was underway, Lisk said.
