Man struck by car in Pacific Beach
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A 30-year-old man was struck by a car and seriously injured in Pacific Beach early Friday, police said.
The pedestrian was struck by a Hyundai Sonata while running south across the 1900 block of Grand Avenue shortly after 12:30 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Robert Heims.
He was hit by the car’s windshield and was taken to a local hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries, Heims said. The driver was not hurt.
