Man suffers broken bones in La Jolla motorcycle crash

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A 52-year-old man broke several bones when he crashed his motorcycle in La Jolla early Friday, but he was expected to survive, police said.

The man lost control of his bike after hitting a hole in the 7300 block of Via Capri shortly before 1 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Robert Heims.

Paramedics took him to the hospital, Heims said in a statement, adding that the man broke at least three leg bones. None of those injuries were life-threatening, he said.
