Man walks 150 miles to raise funds for Navy SEALs
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – One man walked 150 miles to raise money for the Navy Seal Foundation, and today he finished his final steps.
Ted Gallagher began his walk in September at Zuma Beach in Malibu and finished at the Hotel Del Coronado. Gallagher’s goal was to raise $150,000 for wounded or killed Navy Seals and their families.
“This has been about a year in the planning,” says Gallagher. “As of today. . .we [raised] about $238,000. So very fired up, grateful and thankful.”
Gallagher previously raised over $157,000 for the Semper Fi Fund.
