SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – 2:00 p.m. – The names of the three suspects were released by authorities.

They were identified as Ivo Fedak, Chase Hicks and Matthew Wiles. Their ages were not immediately available.

12:25 p.m. – Federal agents seized approximately 250 marijuana plants from a La Mesa residence near Helix High School Thursday.

U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration investigators made three arrests on the 4000 block of Harbinson Avenue after conducting a search warrant for marijuana cultivation at the residence.

Upon entering, agents discovered a marijuana cultivation operation along with a Butane Hash Oil Laboratory. The Butane compound is commonly used in
the illegal manufacturing process.

According to DEA spokeswoman Amy Roderick, a significant amount of hash oil and a sophisticated closed loop system to extract the hash oil was also discovered inside the residence.

The La Mesa Fire Department and San Diego County HazMat team were called to the residence to de-pressurize all the equipment system.

The names of the three suspects have not yet been released. The individuals are likely to be charged with manufacturing of hash oil, possession for sale, cultivation of marijuana, and energy theft.

The investigation is ongoing. Check back for more information.
