Marine training may cause traffic delays on Sunday

A Marine training exercise at Camp Pendleton on Sunday could cause traffic delays on the I-5.

Marines and Sailors will be coming ashore at Green Beach on boats and amphibious assault vehicles.

It's part of a pre-deployment exercise taking place for the next three days.

It's a rare sight for many San Diegans, with large ships, landing vehicles and tanks that will be visible to freeway traffic at Basilone Road.
