Mayor Faulconer talks potential contract extension for bridge shelters

The City Council is considering extending the operating contracts of the three homeless bridge shelters in San Diego. San Diego’s Mayor Kevin Faulconer says it’s necessary to help the homeless get off the streets and improve the quality of our neighborhoods.

The Mayor, along with Amy Gonyeau, COO of the Alpha Project, visited the studio on Monday to talk about the potential contract extension and the different programs in place that are helping San Diego’s homeless get back on their feet.
