Mayor Todd Gloria delivers 2023 State of the City Address amid homeless crisis

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Wednesday night, San Diego’s Democrat Mayor Todd Gloria delivered his 2023 State of the City Address.

The address comes after San Diego voters were “duped” into approving a new trash tax, ongoing push for an extremely unpopular mileage tax, highest gas & electricity rates in the country set to double from this time last year, and the homeless population in Downtown San Diego alone just hit a record high for the fifth straight month.

The homeless situation is so bad, that icon Bill Walton called on Mayor Todd Gloria to resign for destroying “what once was America’s Finest City.”

KUSI’s Matt Prichard watched the entire speech, and shared the most important details on Good Evening San Diego.
