Mayoral candidate Barbara Bry calls for investigation into the city’s lease for 101 Ash Street

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – We will soon find out which two candidates will be running to replace Mayor Kevin Faulconer.

Republican Scott Sherman, and Democrats Todd Gloria, Barbara Bry, and Tasha Williamson are the four current front runners all looking to gain voters just days before Super Tuesday.

After Tuesday’s election, the top two vote getters will then face off in November to replace termed out Mayor Faulconer.

Democrat candidate Barbara Bry joined us in studio to discuss her campaign for mayor and why she called the city auditor’s office to conduct an investigation into the 101 Ash Street lease-to-own deal after it was found to have asbestos in the building.

Bry also detailed her policies on issues facing San Diegans like the controversial state law AB 5, homelessness, and short-term vacation rentals.
