Measure C supporters give Valentine’s Day candy to convention center attendees
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Measure C supporters found a festive way to promote their campaign this Valentine’s Day, while at the same time educating voters.
Supporters handed out Valentine’s Day candy to tourists at hotels near the convention center Friday in order to raise awareness about Measure C.
Measure C is an initiative to increase the hotel visitor tax for convention center expansion, homelessness programs and street repairs.
San Diegans will be voting on the measure this March.
