Meeting held to address affordable housing crisis

SAN DIEGO (KUSI)- State and city officials are continuing the push to create more affordable housing for middle income earners. Today, assembly member Todd Gloria held a meeting with a committee of housing affordability to discuss potential plans and changes to state law to produce more middle-income housing units.

One of the plans is a micro-unit housing project aimed to help homeless veterans.

Michael Copley says if all goes smoothly the project can be completed within 12 months.
