Mike Hess Brewing made special beer during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Mike Hess Brewing is partnering up with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation to make a special beer called Rising Hope IPA, which is part of ‘Brewing Funds the Cure.’

The The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation has partnered with one brewery in each state; Mike Hess Brewing is the designated brewery for the state of California.

The NPCF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research to eliminate childhood cancer since 1991.

The beer is a 6% IPA with Tangerine and Passion Fruit. They made 20 barrels of the beer; it will be released at all four of our San Diego tasting rooms on Friday, Sept 27th (North Park, Imperial Beach, Ocean Beach, Miramar) as well as our Walnut Creek location.
