Miramar Air show

Miramar Air Show: A little bad weather isn't dampening spirits at the Miramar Air Show, but it did cause the show to start later than scheduled.

The show features the U. S. Navy's Blue Angels and another precision flight squad … The Canadian Snowbirds.   The Snowbirds are the only North American squadron to fly in formations of nine.

Gates open at 8 a.m., and shows run from 9 o'clock in the morning to 4 o'clock in the afternoon. There's also a special twilight show Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

The air show runs through Sunday. Admission, parking and blanket seating are free.
