Miramar pileup sends one to hospital
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A pileup at an intersection near Miramar Memorial Golf
Course left one person seriously injured Friday and led to heavy congestion in
the busy area.
The wreck, which involved two big rigs and two other vehicles, occurred
at Carroll and Miramar roads shortly after 10 a.m., according to San Diego
police.
Medics took the victim to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, SDPD
public-affairs Officer Jim Johnson said.
The accident left traffic lanes on both streets blocked into the early
afternoon.
