Missing Autistic Teen Found

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – An autistic Hoover High School student who went missing this week was back with his family Tuesday after turning up in the East County, authorities reported.

Devon Finks, 16, disappeared on Monday from his school in the Talmadge neighborhood of San Diego, as he had done on previous occasions, according to San Diego police.

Shortly before midnight, the special-education student was located in Santee, SDPD spokesman Humberto Hernandez said. It was unclear what the youth had been doing during his absence.
