More rain could be on the way after weekend warmup
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Thursday started with chilly temperatures and blue skies around San Diego County. The coasts began with low 50-degree temperatures with temps dipping into the 30s further in the mountains and desert.
High pressure heading in from the Pacific will begin warming things up going into the weekend as all rain and colder weather from this week’s storm has moved toward Utah, where it will bring snow and frost.
Water temperatures got the most lasting effects from this week’s storm, with most temperatures now into the 60s after unseasonably 70-degree water temperatures through October at most breaks.
This weekend will bring comfortable and warm weather to most of the county, however next week another storm could bear down on California and bring more winter weather.
Monday and Tuesday there is a 20% chance of rain in San Diego.
