Mother charged with murder in toddler’s death in Oceanside
OCEANSIDE, Calif – Authorities have arrested the mother of the 22 month old toddler who was found dead Wednesday night in Oceanside.
The death of the toddler is now being considered a murder.
The mother of the child, Veronica Rivas confessed to drowning her son.
She was taken into custody at Tri-City Medical Center and transported to the Oceanside Police Department.
She will be booked on murder.
The investigation is continuing and other charges may be pending.
