Ocean Beach Kite Festival

(This is the Kiwanis Club’s annual event where kids and families buildtheir own kites and decorate them, win prizes, play games, watch professional kite fliers, eat food and listen to music.)

Festival of Colors
Saturday 11am-4pm
Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre
$6.50-$8 Kids 12 and under free
$3 per bag of color
(This is a traditional Indian celebration of Holi which marks the arrival of spring. People throw bags of powdered purple, green,yellow, pink and orange into the air and on each other. Dancing, live DJs, yoga and food also a part of the celebration.)

Spanish Landing Park
$40 per day
(This fun event brings the Louisiana spirit to San Diego. It features 100 musical acts on seven stages, lots of crawfish.)

SDCCU Festival of Arts

30th and University in North Park
(22nd annual block party features art, four stages of music, food and craft beer. More than 40,000 expected to attend)
