Motorcyclist injured in Stockton crash

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A motorcyclist in his 20s was hospitalized Friday with serious injuries after he crashed his bike into a trailer that was attached to a truck in San Diego’s Stockton neighborhood, police said.

The crash at Market and 32nd streets occurred just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday, according to San Diego police Officer Ben Newton.

The truck driver was in the process of turning left onto 32nd Street from westbound Market Street when the eastbound motorcyclist crashed into a trailer the truck was towing, Newton said in a statement.

Paramedics took the motorcyclist to a hospital so he could be treated for a head injury and a serious injury to his femur, Newton said.
