Motorcyclist killed on South Bay freeway

CHULA VISTA (CNS) – A motorcyclist was killed Friday in a South Bay
freeway crash, authorities said.

The crash on southbound Interstate 5 at E Street was reported at 6:14
a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. One lane of the E Street
offramp was closed due to the accident, and a SigAlert was issued.

The ramp was reopened and the SigAlert lifted shortly after 9 a.m.
