Motorcyclist suffers fatal injuries in San Pasqual crash
SAN PASQUAL (KUSI) — A 24-year-old man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle in San Pasqual Sunday and struck a tree.
The rider, who has not yet been identified, was traveling down a grade when "he took a curve too fast" and veered down a roadway, according to San Diego police Officer John Buttle.
San Diego Police Department and San Diego Fire-Rescue Department officials responded to the 18300 block of San Pasqual Valley Road just before 4 p.m. Sunday, Buttle said. Upon arrival, they found a motorcycle that had apparently lost control and the rider suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision.
A Sig-Alert was issued for San Pasqual Valley Road near Bandy Canyon Road as SDPD conducted an investigation but all roads have since reopened.
