Motorist killed in accident on Lemon Grove offramp

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – An early morning crash on an offramp at the San Diego-Lemon Grove city line left a female motorist dead early Thursday morning.

The crash occurred just after 2:30 a.m. on the offramp from westbound state Route 94 to College Avenue when the motorist's vehicle overturned. The victim, who was not immediately identified, was taken to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The offramp was reopened following a brief closure.
